1).Increase growth rate

Add 50mg/kg bacillus licheniformis in the ration, after 28 days experiments, chicken daily average growth (18.51±0.4)g, 17.86% higher than that of control group (P <0.05), material weight ratio (1.46±0.02), reduced by 10.98% (P<0.05) and average daily feed intake, there were no significant differences The results showed that the bacillus licheniformis could significantly improve the growth performance of broilers

2).Improve egg production performance

The use of bacillus licheniformis (2billion cfu/g) for laying hens, added in the diet with the results of 60mg/kg bacillus licheniformis rate of test group was 4.12% higher than the control group (P<0.01), shows that the bacillus licheniformis can significantly increase the rate of chicken

3).Reduce feed consumption

Adding bacillus subtilis and Bacillus licheniformis with spores of 20 billion cfu/g in the diet of yellow-feathered broilers for 6 weeks could increase the average daily gain and decrease the feed to gain ratio by 8.52% (P<0.05).

4).Reduces heat stress response

Bacillus licheniformis could increase the average laying rate of (34℃) laying hens under heat stress by 50%, and decrease the serum adrenotropin and corticosterone levels which can inhibit gonadotropin secretion (P<0.05), increase the follicle-stimulating hormone and progesterone levels related to laying (P<0.05), and increase the serum follicle-stimulating hormone and progesterone levels related to laying (P<0.05). The results showed that bacillus had beneficial effects on laying rate and blood hormone level of heat stressed laying hens

5).Improving air quality

Adding 3g/kg microecological enzyme preparation (composed of Bacillus licheniformis, Enterococcus faecalis and Lactobacillus acidophilus) in the diet reduced the microbial and ammonia content in the air of the chicken house by 10.05% and 4.09% (P<0.05), respectively. The addition of Bacillus licheniformis reduced the ammonia concentration by 7.42mg/ m3 in the fifth week (P<0.01), indicating that bacillus licheniformis can significantly reduce the production of ammonia in the intestinal tract of chickens, improve the utilization rate of nitrogen and reduce the occurrence of respiratory diseases.
